Swallowtail is a hosted SaaS made by Corvid Data LLC. We build slow, thoughtful tools for the unglamorous middle of the migration, the part where everyone else gets tired.
Why we made another redirect tool.
The matching tools in this category are either fast and stupid, or smart and unaffordable. Almost all of them stop at exact-match and call the leftovers “manual review.”
The leftovers were the entire job. A 30,000-row migration could collapse into eighty-two regex lines if someone bothered to look. Nobody bothered to look.
So Swallowtail starts there: with the wildcards, the near-misses, the tired hour before launch. The thing it does well is the thing the others skip.
Three rules we keep coming back to.
Surface low confidence, never hide it.
Anything below 0.75 confidence shows up for review. The matcher will not silently map your sitemap. You see what it’s unsure about.
The output is a human-readable CSV, not a black box.
Every line names its match type. Every wildcard shows the URLs it collapses. Auditable from the spreadsheet alone.
One job. No upsells inside the product.
We do redirect mapping. We don’t do hosting, analytics, dashboards-of-dashboards, or AI assistants pretending to be junior PMs. The tool ends where the CSV begins.
